And while it’s not sold in the US, the X5 M50d is quite popular in other parts of the world. This particular model hails from Europe and it went through a few cosmetic changes. To go with the overall dark scheme, this X5 M50d gets a black kidney grille, blacked out badges and side mirrors, and some flashy aftermarket wheels.
The ADV15 ADV15 M.V2 Standard Series wheels were fitted to this SUV and are sized 21×10.5 / 21×11.5 front and rear, respectively. The finish is a gold/bronze color which offers a great contrast against the dark blue paint job.
The BMW X5 M50d xDrive utilizes a 3.0-liter inline-six diesel engine. This engine is specifically developed for the M Performance range and fits the rather heavy BMW X5 M50d xDrive perfectly. The output is rated at 381 horsepower at 4,000 rpm and 740Nm of torque – all available from 2,000 to 3,000 revs. It allows the X5 to accelerate from 0-62mph (0-100km/h) in as low as 5.4 seconds.
It can also haul some large and heavy loads – thanks to the impressive levels of torque available overall.
