The BMW X5 M of the previous generation is still a powerful and extravagant SUV. Featuring a a 4.4 liter V8 M engine delivering 555 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and 500 lb-ft of torque from 1,500 to 5,650 rpm, the first-generation X5 M is a monster on track and the perfect road companion. The power is enough to propel the heavy vehicle from 0-62mph (0-100km/h) in just 4.5 seconds. Top speed is limited to a whopping 155mph (250km/h).
It does, however, come with a few wrinkles and signs of a an aging design which can be easily negated by some aftermarket visual upgrades. In the case of this BMW X5 M, this upgrade comes in the shape of some aftermarket wheels.
These Velos Designwerks wheels add a dose of aggressiveness and freshness, giving the X5 M an even more special look. A few carbon fiber touches, like the front spoiler and rear diffuser, add the finishing touch to this vehicle. Full showcase of this BMW X5 M project is available right below.
