The car aftermarket industry can be a hit or miss today. Often, it can deliver some beautiful tuning projects, while other times the end result needs to be shelved immediately. Take for example this Alpine White 435i with M Sport Package which has been lowered with an air ride to nearly an inch from the ground. Next, a set of of Vossen VFS-6 custom wheels was installed on this ride.

While the wheels themselves would enhance a properly lowered BMW 4 Series Coupe, in this case, even these cannot mitigate the absurdly overdropped stance of this coupe. There is always someone who’ll like those type of projects, but for us, this one simply crosses the line.

Luckily the air ride offers several adjustments and the owner can raise the vehicle – when needed – at normal height settings.

Power wise, the BMW 435i keeps its standard 3.0-liter BMW TwinPower Turbo inline 6-cylinder, 24-valve engine which develops 300 horsepower. It combines a twin-scroll turbocharger with variable valve control (Double-VANOS and Valvetronic) and high-precision direct injection, allowing for a smooth and efficient power delivery.

Does Vossen pay you to promote this nonsense?

While the car definitely looks nice like this, I really don’t think it’s practical at all. I for one, do NOT like having to worry about the undercarriage of my car every time I see a speed bump or pothole!
