It sometimes only takes a few minutes to ruin your dreams – or in this case – a brand-new Ferrari LaFerrari. Just minutes after leaving the dealership, a man in Budapest crashed his brand new, $1.9 million LaFerrari – also known as one of the most expensive cars in the world.
The driver was behind the wheel of a red LaFerrari on a boulevard in the Hungarian capital – Budapest – when he decided to accelerate and pass another car. The end result of improper driving skills and the 950 horsepower from the hybrid platform led to the motorist losing control of his expensive supercar, swerving across the road and crashing into some parked cars.
Ferrari’s LaFerrari can go up to 62 miles per hour in just under three seconds. Only 499 models were ever built and the waitlist for it comes with some extremely complicated requirements.
