This gorgeous orange BMW 2002 was built in 1975 and it has been daily driven ever since. The previous owner sold it back in 2005 to the current owner with a move from the sunny California to the harsher weather in Pennsylvania. Yet this little guy didn’t mind. The BMW 2002 is one of those classic daily drivers that is happy to take their owners and friends to concerts and events all across the country. Forty years later and it’s still a head turner everywhere it goes.
The BMW New Class (German: Neue Klasse) refers to a line of compact sedans and coupes produced by BMW between 1962 and 1977.
After World War II, the New Class was the first return to the 1.5 liter – 2.0 liter class of automobiles by the German car maker. The New Class ensured BMW’s solvency after the company’s financial crises of the 1950s and established the identity of BMW automobiles as sports sedans.
