Need a two car solution for your daily driving/weekend needs? How about these two? They are completely different in many areas, but nearly the same when performance, driving dynamics and design appeal come into play. First one is a BMW F10 M5 – a heavyweight in the performance sedan market. The second one is the BMW i8 – a perfectly balanced hybrid vehicle that delivers great performance and impressive fuel savings.

Both these cars are equipped with a set of aftermarket wheels which elevate their exterior looks, bringing a level of customization and a better stance. For the BMW i8 – one of the major complaints coming from owners – are the wheels. While they look futuristic and have been aerodynamically designed, they lack the sex-appeal associated with the i8.

Wheels Boutique is the tuning company behind this build. The Miami-based tuner installed a set of ADVNL2 MV.2 Competition Spec wheels on the M5 and ADV5.2 MV.2 Competition Spec wheels on the BMW i8. For the BMW M5, wheel sizes are 21×9.5 in the front and 21×11 in the rear. For the BMW i8, sizes are 21×9 in the front and 21×10.5 in the rear, respectively. Both wheel sets are flashier than the stock ones and will certainly make the cars stand out on the road. Are they everyone’s cup of tea? Likely not, but some owners may dig them.

Matte colours on the i8 really don’t show off the cars lines very at all.

I’ve seen it in matte white and in person it looked really sexy. the color choice in these photos looks dirty.

      • Vanja Kljaic says:

Probably just the photos, it should look quite interesting if seen in real life, as did some other BMW’s previously in the same finish.

        • Michael Christopher Frazier IV says:

one of the few luxury’s of living in los angeles is the ability to see wealth’s almost limitless infatuation with matte paint or matte vinyl wraps. the white looks really great, as does dark silver…
