The new ALPINA B3 Biturbo Facelift and B6 Edition 50 are being displayed at the 2015 Frankfurt Auto Show.

ALPINE B3 Facelift

With the introduction of the 2016 Model Year the BMW ALPINA B3 BiTurbo participates in the BMW model update and also sees a number of ALPINA specific changes in design and equipment.

The front features a new spoiler and a chrome BMW kidney grill, both accentuate the dynamic appearance of the B3. The new LED headlights underline the sporty, aggressive stance of the D3 Bi-Turbo. The two twin tailpipes are elegantly integrated into the re-designed rear apron, above which the new LED rear lights are clearly visible.

With 301 kW (410 hp) and a maximum torque of 600 Nm, the straight-six 3.0 liter engine with direct injection and two turbochargers ensures exciting performance on the road and track. The B3 BiTurbo sedan accelerates from zero to 100 km/h in just 4.3 seconds and can reach a top speed of 303 km/h. Efficiency is outstanding, with a combined fuel consumption of just 7.6 l/100km and 177 g/km CO2 measured according to ECE norm.

Besides the performance improvement, the Edition 50 has its weight-optimized with forged wheels which are 15.6 kg lighter than the standard 20-inch wheels. An optional high-performance brakes with four-piston fixed calipers and Brembo 395 mm diameter brake discs at the front ensures high-performance braking.

Damper and control systems have been specially adapted to the lighter wheels and the increased engine performance.

A lightweight exhaust system from Akrapovic titanium saves another 17 kilograms and deliver improved acoustics.
