BMW’s new chief executive, Harald Krueger, fainted on stage at the Frankfurt auto show on Tuesday.

Krueger collapsed as he was commenting on BMW’s latest models during a news conference. Kruger was able to walk and BMW reps says he’s feeling okay. A BMW spokesman addressed the journalists shortly after the incident: “I’m a bit lost for words. BMW will try to redo the press conference at a later stage.”

We wish the best to Herr Kruger and we hope to see him back on stage later today. His health is more important than any press conference at any auto show.

Mmm… not the best way to start…

    Which was the question?

Hopefully this was just a case of him overextending himself, perhaps traveling too much, not eating before the press event, etc and not a real health issue. As someone who does public speaking, I can attest there is tremendous pressure and stress when you have to address hundreds of people who are hanging on your every word. He probably just wasn’t rested enough and maybe didn’t drink enough fluids before he went up there and the stress took over for that brief moment. While he’s done plenty of public speaking before, He’s new at these intense press events where he’s now the CEO. That definitely ratchets up the pressure a few more notches.

He just got the news: “Alfa Romeo Giulia QV: Fastest sedan ever around Nurburgring”…M4 is doomed…How could not understand him…
