The BMW X6 xDrive30d offers the perfect balance between power and efficiency in the Sports Activity Vehicles segment. The previous generation sporty diesel SUV comes with BMW’s N57 engine, a turbocharged inline-six common rail diesel powerplant which delivers 245 horsepower. While not offered in United States, the X6 diesel was a highly popular model in Europe where diesel-powered engines get picked before gasoline powerplants.

The engine allows the rather heavy BMW X6 to achieve some impressive acceleration and performance numbers, while keeping fuel expenditure rather low: 7.5 seconds from 0 to 100 km/h and 7.4 liter per 100 km.

The X6 has been a sales success for BMW and it is followed up by the new generation released last year with a new design and power upgrades.

The older generation X6 is still an attractive automobile, but a few touches never hurt anybody. The owner of this BMW X6 decided to go with a set of custom aftermarket wheels to spice things up and return his vehicle back to relevancy. The project was done by Prodrive Shop and it features a set of custom made ADV.1 monoblock wheels. These are the ADV005 MV2 CS wheels sized 20×10 in the front and rear, due to requirements of proper work mode of the all-wheel drive system in this vehicle.

  1. Tandeau de Marsac says:

As user of an BMW X6 I am very surprised to note that this vehicle is not waterproof. Indeed, after having cleaned the back one with water, the black box rusted and paralysed all electronics. My dealer BAYERN in AIX en Provence (France)refuses the warranty despite the fact that the vehicle is only 18 months old.I think BMW should react in order to save its reputation.
