The launch of the BMW M4 GTS is imminent. The latest prototype spotted at Nurburgring sports the production-ready rear wing which is still covered in camouflage.
The front apron and rear diffuser are also masked off hiding the last design details. The rumormill churns out that the BMW M4 GTS will come in only three colors and will forget at home the rear seats.
Just like the M3 GTS, the M4 GTS is expected to be a raw, track-ready, yet street-legal version of the powerful M4. The internal ordering system of U.S. BMW dealerships now lists a 2016 BMW M4 GTS beginning production in March of next year
The upcoming BMW M4 GTS will feature the water injection system seen in the BMW M4 MotoGP Safety Car. We currently estimate that the expected BMW M4 GTS middle-class athlete will drive its rear wheels with about 470 hp. Our sources say ceramic brakes will be standard on the GTS and dual-clutch transmission is likely to be the only choice offered.
