Yet another drag race from Sweden. This time, a tuned BMW M5 takes on the Audi RS Avant. Thanks to a Burger Motorsports ECU tune, AFE air intake and carbon scoops, AMS downpipes and a few other mods, the BMW M5 makes 700 horsepower. A pretty significant increase from the standard 560 hp or from the 600 ponies found in the M5 30 Jahre Edition.

The Audi RS6 brings to the drag race 690 horsepower, yet more weight due to its all-wheel drive system. The M5 is about 75kg (165 lbs) lighter than the RS6.

A rolling start is introduced in the drag race, but if this was a standstill contest, the Audi RS6 would have reached 100 km/h (62mph) in just 3.9 seconds (thanks to that Quattro), while the M5 would have needed 4.3 seconds with the DCT box.

So, are the 10 extra horsepower worth more than the 75 kilos weight difference?
