It’s not every day you see a BMW i8 with some aftermarket parts. This Sophisto Grey BMW i8 not only gets a beautiful window tint but also a set of aftermarket wheels. Built by ADV.1 Wheels,  the wheels feature a sporty design and come in all black to match the rest of the car.

Furthermore, the folks at Prodrive Shop in Honk Kong decided to further transform this i8 into a Batmobile by adding some more black visual accents. The kidney grille moves away from the blue colors and gets a chrome look with black accents, while in the back, the chrome inserts in the bumper are blacked out as well.

They come in sizes of 20×8 and 20×9 front and rear, together with a matte black finish. While the wheels don’t offer much concavity in either front or rear, the sleek and edgy design of the spokes gives a cool look to this high-performance hybrid.

looks like a concept car cant believe its actually real and you can buy it! :D i bet by 2020 + this car will still look futuristic

    Love it!

This Prodrive shop is actually located in Bangkok,Thailand not in Hong Kong. It is 5 mins from my house only :) And this beautiful i8 and its new shoes in Thailand cost $ 470,000 US altogether. Not joking.

  5. James says:

I would like to see an aftermarket company make wheels for this car that aren’t far from the factory size in order to maintain the full efficiency of the standard car.

  6. Daniel says:

I like it. The original i8 looks a bit over-the-top futuristic. The blackout paint scheme makes it look more like a real car instead of a prop from a Tom Cruise movie.
