In a competitive aftermarket tuning scene, TAG Motorsports stands out with some impressive projects based on BMW cars. With this next project, they have transformed a BMW F15 X5 with a bevvy of aftermarket additions, courtesy of AC Schnitzer, the renowned German tuning shop.

The BMW X5 5.0i is powered by a 4.4-liter BMW TwinPower Turbo V8 engine delivering 445 horsepower. It comes mated to an 8-speed STEPTRONIC automatic transmission with Sport and Manual shift modes and Adaptive Transmission Control (ATC) as standard. This allows the X5 to sprint from 0-62mph (0-100km/h) in just 4.9 seconds.

The first step in this build to add an AC Schnitzer exhaust system. Original AC Schnitzer high performance silencers are made from stainless steel with different chromed tailpipes which offer a sporty sound.

Next in line were the cosmetic modifications. A complete AC Schnitzer body kit was installed which consists of a revised front and rear bumper.

A set of 22” AC Schnitzer Type V Forged Wheels in Anthracite Finish was added, together with 295/30/22 & 335/25/22 Pirelli Scorpion Zero Tires. Additionally, the AC Schnitzer Spring Set (30mm Lowered Front, 20mm Lowered Rear) was installed, adding the perfect stance for this vehicle.
