Not a household name like some other tuning shops, the German tuner Kaege certainly has their say when it comes to modifying the BMW F80 M3. Kaege is actually one of the first tuning companies out there to release a full performance tuning program for the new M3, thanks to the installation of a plug and play module.
Their tuning evolves around a plug-and-play system, allowing the tuner to increase the performance output of the TwinPower turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six cylinder engine from the standard 425 hp to 517 hp and 516 lb-ft of torque.
The standard BMW F80 M3 and its 425 ponies allows the vehicle to accelerate from 0-62mph (0-100km/h) in just 3.9 seconds. Now, with this power tune installed, we believe it can shave a few tenths of a second for the standard sprint, will providing additional power in acceleration from 80 to 120mph.
The module in question costs 2799 euros.
Their tuning program for the BMW F80 M3 is complemented with a range of coilover suspension systems. In this particular build, a set of KW Coilovers was added coupled with BBS wheels. These BBS wheels come in sizes of 20-inch together with Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires, for a total of 2949 euros for the package.
