Jaguar is getting clever again with their advertising campaigns. Led by Jaguar Canada and Y&R ad agency, the new campaign launches under the slogan “Devour the road” and features the three German premium brands: BMW, Audi and Mercedes.
The clever ads turn the German brands’ logo into breakfast items, like a pretzel, yogurt and quiche.
Jaguar aims to promote through their ads the F-Type R Coupe, XFR-S and XJR. All of them delivering 550 hp each.
By comparison, all three German brands deliver similar performance for the Jaguar’s counterparts. For example, the M5 with Competition Package outputs 575 hp, the Audi RS6 delivers 560 hp and the AMG division has their own products with over 600 hp.
Regardless, the ad is meant to be provocative and will indeed get the interwebs to talk about it. Add in the social media factor, and it might even go viral.[Source: autoevolution]
