BMW F10 M5 takes on the Ferrari FF on a drag race. Can the M5 keep up with the Italian supercar?
First, let’s take a look at the engines and power output.
The latest generation F10 M5 uses a 4.4-liter TwinTurbo V8 engine producing 560 hp and 680 Nm (501 lb-ft) of torque. On the other hand, Ferrari FF comes with a massive V12 6.3 liter engine with 660 hp and 683 Nm (503 lb-ft) of torque.
Along with the extra power, the Ferrari FF weighs 3,946 lbs while the F10 M5 tips the scale at 4,122 lbs.
While the power to the M5 is sent to the rear-wheel, the FF has an all-wheel drive platform, so more grip on the tarmac. Both cars use a 7-speed DCT.
