According to the Daily Telegraph, the BMW i8 is now selling on the used market for more than they were paid for. Not a shocker after all considering the limited numbers of i8 hybrid sportscars to be produced in 2014.
“It’s a sellers’ market,” said Tim Marlow from Magnitude Finance. “Some dealers are now pricing them in the region of £150,000.”
This is definitely a lot more than the asking price in Germany for example where the BMW i8 retails for 126,000 euros.
If you still think the BMW i8 is highly overestimated, then it’s worth looking at the Chinese market where for a BMW i8 you will need to pay $323,000 or around 251,000 euros.
And there are the fine car collectors with one of them recently paying $825,000 for a limited edition i8.
