The M-engineered X5 was spotted once again with just a few weeks before its web debut. The F85 BMW X5 M will come to market to once again compete against the Mercedes ML63 AMG and the Porsche Cayenne Turbo S.
The F85 BMW X5 M comes with large air intakes, wider bodykit, rear diffuser and blue calipers M brakes. At the rear end, the F15 X5M features the typical quad exhaust pipes. The test mule also showcases headlights that now flow into the 3D kidney grille.
The second generation of the high-powered X5 M will be using an upgraded version of the S63Tü V8 twin-turbo engine from the BMW M5 F10 which our sources say will produce more than 560 hp.
In addition to increased performance, the vehicles should offer better gas mileage thanks to weight savings brought about by the new chassis.
First units are expected to reach the BMW dealerships later this year.
