While visiting the BMW M Testing Center at Nurburgring, we had the chance to see from up-close a BMW M3 Safety Car, an interesting sight since previous MotoGP Safety Cars that we have seen were based of the M4 Coupe.

BMW M4 MotoGP Safety Car was unveiled in Qatar in March for the 2014 MotoGP season debut.

The official safety car will come equipped with a host M Performance upgrades to compliment the already aggressive performance and design of BMW M GmbH’s latest offerings.

The M3 MotoGP Safety Car sports titanium exhaust system with carbon finishers, black front grille, front splitter with blade, rear diffuser, carbon fiber rear spoiler, carbon fiber mirror caps, side skirts, Alcantara M Performance steering wheel with race display and M Performance foot mats.

Recaro seats are replacing the standard ones.
