With just a few months ahead of its public debut, the 2015 BMW X5M F85 was spotted during testing at Nurburgring.
As seen here, the F85 BMW X5 M comes with large air intakes, wider bodykit, rear diffuser and blue calipers M brakes. At the rear end, the F15 X5M features the typical quad exhaust pipes. The test mule also showcases headlights that now flow into the 3D kidney grille.
The second generation of the high-powered X5 M will most likely driven by an adapted version of the S63Tü V8 twin-turbo engine from the BMW M5 F10. In addition to the standard 560 hp engine, BMW will most likely offer a Competition Package which delivers 575 horsepower.
In addition to increased performance, the vehicles should offer better gas mileage thanks to weight savings brought about by the new chassis.
Just like the previous generation, the F85 X5 M will target the Mercedes ML63 AMG and the Porsche Cayenne Turbo S.
