Earlier today, BMW Individual unveiled their latest creation, a Fire Orange BMW M6 Coupe made for professional DTM driver Marco Wittmann.
But this doesn’t seem to be first Fire Orange M6 Coupe. From Munich, Autogespot brings us some photos of a similar setup but with some visual improvements. Aside from the Fire Orange paint job, the M6 Coupe shown here comes with black wheels, carbon ceramic brakes, M Performance Rear Spoiler and the amazing and loud Akrapovic exhaust system.
Under the hood, the 2013 BMW M6 Coupe was fitted with the high-revving 4.4-litre V8 engine with M TwinPower Turbo technology, consisting of Twin Scroll Twin Turbo technology, cross-bank exhaust manifold, High Precision Direct Petrol Injection and VALVETRONIC fully variable valve control. The cars deliver 560 hp at 6,000 – 7,000 rpm and maximum torque of 680 Newton meters (502 lb-ft) from 1,500 rpm.
Official figures say the acceleration from 0–100 km/h (62 mph) comes in 4.2 seconds, with the electronically governed top speed at 250 km/h (155 mph) or 305 km/h (189 mph) with M Driver’s Package.
The power was sent to the rear-wheels via a seven-speed M Double Clutch Transmission with Drivelogic.
The super sporty high-end coupe went on sale last summer with a Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Prices of $106,995.
