Fire Orange became famous with the launch of the ultra-exclusive BMW M3 GTS. But a Frozen (matte) Fire Orange hasn’t been seen on the road. The folks over at Autogespot spotted a Frozen Fire Orange F10 BMW M5 in NYC, from all places.
Along with the polarizing color, the F10 BMW M5 also comes with contrasting parts, such as the blacked out kidney grille, side mirrors and vinyl-wrapped black roof. At the rear, the F10 M5 gets a subtle spoiler similar to the one seen in the M5 Competition Package.
No other details are known about this special car, but in standard form, we know that the F10 BMW M5 is powered by a high-revving 4.4-liter turbocharged unit that uses the BMW M TwinPower Turbo technology. The engine outputs 560 horsepower from 5,750-7,000 rpm and 680Nm (502 lb-ft) of torque from only 1500rpm. It comes in both manual and 7-speed DCT transmission.
Some instrumented tests showed the F10 BMW M5 running to 62 mph in just 3.9 seconds when Launch Control is activated.
