While journalists from around the world are in Los Angeles test driving the new i8, prototypes continue to be seen in and around Munich. The latest real life photos give us a closer look at the i8 in the Sophisto Grey color, labeled by many as the “Batman i8″.
BMW i8 can be specified in a choice of four colors, three of which have been created exclusively for BMW i: Ionic Silver, Protonic Blue, Crystal White and Sophisto Grey. All the paint finishes provide a striking contrast to the black belt.
And, depending on the color chosen, the accent surfaces on the side skirts, at the rear and on the BMW kidney grille surround come in BMW i Blue or Frozen Grey.
Just like the BMW i3, the i8 hybrid sportscar can be ordered with the “Giga” and “Tera” “Worlds”.
