Update: Some readers point out that this is the BMW X5 eDrive.
Some spy photos of what seem to be the BMW X7 just popped up on the interwebs. The alleged BMW X7 prototype was spotted in Munich and shows a large SUV that accommodates full third row seating.
Our sources say that the new BMW X7 will come to market in late 2017 and will be built upon the new car architecture that BMW announced recently.
The large premium SUV will share many of its components with other X models.
Early projections put the sales of the BMW X7 between 40,000 and 50,000 units a year.
