A BMW M4 in Austin Yellow was spotted in Germany. The new M4 Coupe and M3 Sedan will be officially unveiled to the world on January 13 at the Detroit Auto Show.

Both cars can be configured with the same exterior color pallet. The interior upholstery and trim options are also identical. The M3 Sedan and M4 Coupe can be ordered in Alpine White, Sakhir Orange, Black Sapphire, Silverstone, Mineral White, Mineral Grey, Austin Yellow and Yas Marina.

U.S. pricing will be announced in early 2014, but in the UK the prices for the M3 sedan start at £56,175, while the M4 Coupe starts at £56,653.

Both cars use the all-new, 3.0-liter BMW M3 and M4 engine is approximately 10 kilograms lighter than its V-8 predecessor and packs an even stronger punch. With 425 horsepower from 5,500 – 7,300 rpm, 406 lb-ft of torque from 1,850 – 5,500 rpm, and capable of 0-60mph in 3.9 seconds when equipped with the M-DCT transmission (4.1 seconds with standard 6-speed manual).

    What a beautiful car! But why BMW went cheap and installed halogen taillights??? Why???

    It looks kind of fake to me…. the reflections don’t quite fit plus all the filters. Something looks off. Those could be the official photos shoped into antother scene. But I’m too lazy to compare those right now to be honest.

    I think the pictures of the M4 were cropped straight out from GT6 game. If you look at the snap shots from the game you will notice it clearly and yea the reflections are off for some reason. The background looks almost dull compared to the extra shiny M4. Perhaps I am mistaken.

    I think the white reflection in the windshield of the m4 int he front photo reveals that is fake. Look at the car in the left, it doesnt have that white reflection…
