BMW X3 facelift will come to market in June 2014. New spy photos of the F25 X3 LCI has been surfaced on the interwebs giving us a look at the exterior and interior changes of the midsize SAV.
The close-up spy shots reveal changes to the front-end which now features full-LED headlights and a revised bumper. Inside, the X3 facelift gets the new iDrive Touch system and updated trims.
No major changes will occur under the bonnet of the BMW X3 where customers will have an option between four and six-cylinder engines in both petrol and diesel. Engines are expected to be carried over for the U.S. market with a choice between a 2.0 liter four-cylinder engine or the 3.0 liter TwinPower six-cylinder. For the first time in the U.S., a diesel engine will be offered for the X3 (first half of 2014). While not confirmed, we believe a 2.0 liter four-cylinder engine will be used for the midsize premium SAV.
Production of the F25 BMW X3 facelift will begin in April at the Spartanburg plant in South Carolina.
