A new day and more photos of the upcoming BMW 4 Series Gran Coupe. After the Nurburgring spy video seen yesterday, new photos of the four-door coupe emerge from Germany.
The F36 4 Series Gran Coupe prototype sports the typical BMW camouflage that hides some of the final design details. Based on the spy shots below we can see that the roof life of the 4 Series Gran Coupe matches the one seen on the 4er Coupe giving the car a sleek and dynamic look.
The front end also resembles the one seen on the 4 Series Coupe with black inserts that point out to a model that has the Sport Line package. Compared to the 4 Series Coupe and 3 Series sedan, the F36 Gran Coupe is four centimeters longer and has a height of 1.4 meters. While the heardroom in the back is smaller than the 3 Series, the elegant design and classic look make the 4 Series Gran Coupe a desirable car.
The BMW 4 Series Gran Coupe will be presented at the Geneva Motor Show in 2014 and coming to market in the second half of June 2014. At its market launch BMW will offer the 420i, 420d, 428i and 435i models. The 420d and 428i are also said to come with the optional xDrive system.
A BMW 435d Gran Coupe is also said to be planned for launch.
Both the 4 Series Gran Coupe and 6 Series Gran Coupe are built at the Dingolfing plant and will compete against the Audi A5 Sportback.
