Here are the first renderings of a potential BMW M235i Convertible.
BMW has yet to confirm a cabriolet version of the newly unveiled M235i sporty compact car, but rendering artists from around the world have already begun to illustrate what the M235i Convertible would look like.
The F23 BMW 2 Series cabrio and M235i cabriolet are built exactly like the previously offered 1 Series Convertible at the Leipzig plant. Just like the current model, the F23 2 Series Convertible will make use of a soft roof top. The design cues of the cabriolet are similar to the coupe so no major surprises are expected.

Under the hood of both the coupe and convertible is the N55 3.0 liter turbocharged TwinScroll producing 326 horsepower and 450 Nm of torque (332 lb-ft) at 1,300 rpm. BMW M235i Coupe accelerates from to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 5.0 seconds. With Launch Control activated, the 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) sprint is all over in 4.8 seconds.
