The first ever BMW 2 Series Coupe will be presented on Oct. 25th. You can see the first trailer here.

The F22 2 Series Coupe is closely related to the current generation F20/F21 1 Series, which implies the use of a rear-wheel drive architecture and in some cases, an all-wheel drive system.

The engine range will be expanded over time and eventually reflect in large part the same powerplant units as the 1 Series, so expect to see 220d, 218i or 225i models. At the top of the line-up, the M Performance Automobiles sub-division will take over with two high-performance 2 Series models: M235i and M235i xDrive.
