Later this year the new BMW 2 Series Coupe will make its web debut ahead of its market launch in Spring 2014. The new BMW 2 Series Coupe continues to be seen on public roads sporting very little camouflage and the latest prototype was seen around Munich.
The F22 2 Series Coupe features a different front-end than the 1 Series hatchback, with sleeker headlights and a kidney grille with gray bars that give a 3D look. The taillights are also sportier than those on the hatch and slightly larger.
Compared with the optical differences between the 3 Series and 4 Series, the differences between the 1 Series and 2 Series models is even more pronounced, which is primarily due to the fundamentally changed headlights shape.
Inside the BMW 2 Series Coupe retains the driving oriented cockpit and the free-standing LCD screen in the center of the dashboard.
At the entry-level, we expect to see 220d, 218i or 225i models. The BMW M235i will be the top model which also feature a proper LSD (Limited Slip Differential).
Just like the 1 Series models the 2 Series will be offered with an optional all-wheel drive system.
