BMW: No. 12 Most Valuable Brand in the World

The second place spot is held this year by Google which rose from fourth place last year. In Top 10 this year we have five technology companies: Apple; Google; Microsoft (No. 5), Samsung (No. 8) and Intel (No. 9).

From the automotive industry Toyota, BMW and Mercedes-Benz are ranked the highest. While BMW comes in on the 12th place, Mercedes-Benz ranks 11th with a value of $31.9 billion. BMW’s estimated value is $31.8 billion. Toyota is the most valuable automotive company in the world being ranked 10th by Interbrand.

Here is the funny part, if you remove Mercedes commercial vehicle business and only look at the passenger vehicles business vs BMW, Mercedes is valued at half of what BMW is.
