Just three years after its official launch and the second-generation BMW X3 is preparing for a mild refresh that will debut in June of this year. The F25 LCI will bring subtle exterior and interior updates, similar to the F10 5 Series LCI.
The spy photos from Arjeplog show changes to the front apron and the inner workings of the headlights. The exterior mirrors are also getting the built-in side indicators like other newer BMW models.
The kidney grille appears to remain unchanged.
Of course, the BMW X3 facelift will bring interior changes that will maintains its status of a premium midsize SUV. So we expect to see the new BMW iDrive Touch Controller as well as the latest generation iDrive Navigation System with 3D display.
For the full year 2012, BMW X3 sold to 149,853 customers worldwide and increased year-over-year by 27.1 percent. BMW aims to sell more than 150,000 units in 2013.
