A new set of 2014 BMW M4 renderings surface from French Magazine Motorsport. Those are similar to the ones published by us last week since they are created by same talented designer: Jerry Alvarez (JAdesigns75.deviantart.com).
Just like other renderings, we can see here an aggressive front bumper with styling cues imported from the 1M and M6 models, as well as a carbon fiber rooftop, similar to the one on the M6 Coupe. The side lines have also been enhanced to give the car a more muscular and sporty look aided by flared fenders and side skirts. A set of M wheels where added to the image also. The hood bulge on the hood is present as well, a similar feature as currently seen on the E90/E92 M3 models.
The F80 and F82 M3 and M4 drop the V8 naturally-aspirated engine in favor of a new inline-six engine, codename S55. This latest tidbit of information found in a BMW VIN registered with the UK authorities points to around 415 horsepower, even though we expect to see a bit more ponies under the hood.
With the new M3 and M4, the M division focused on weight reduction techniques therefore offering better performance than the current M3 models.
