One of the most fun BMWs to drive these days is the hot-rod M135i. The super sporty hatch is the European journalists’ darling which explains why we couldn’t find one yet in the press garage in Munich.

The first BMW M Performance Automobile with a petrol engine is featured below in a video that shows how quickly it can get to 260 km/h.

BMW M135i is powered by a 3-liter, straight six-cylinder engine and 235 kW/320 hp and 450 Nm of torque at 4,500 rpm. The technology package includes a TwinScroll turbocharger, direct High Precision Injection with central multi-hole injectors, VALVETRONIC variable valve control and Double VANOS variable camshaft timing.

Official testing shows that M135i running from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.9 seconds with the automatic gearbox and 5.1 with manual.

Average fuel consumption in the EU test cycle is 8.0 liters (7.5 liters)/100 km, and the CO2 emissions level is 188 grams (175 grams) per kilometer.

One non-metallic and five metallic colors are available for the M135i model.

    Man, that’s quick! From only 320hp, how’s that even possible!? Till you read about all the tech in this engine!

    Bring this Hot Car to the US it will be a real hit with young sporty people, its small and practical and if it sells in Europe why cant it sell well here ? Come on BMW take the step ….
