Canadian-based magazine Herald Wheels is giving us a review of the 2012 BMW M5 with DCT transmission.

In the U.S., the BMW M5 carries Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Prices of $90,695 and powered by a high-revving 4.4-litre V8 engine with M TwinPower Turbo technology, consisting of Twin Scroll Twin Turbo technology, cross-bank exhaust manifold, High Precision Direct Petrol Injection and VALVETRONIC fully variable valve control. The cars deliver 560 hp at 6,000 – 7,000 rpm and maximum torque of 680 Newton meters (502 lb-ft) from 1,500 rpm.

The high-rev unit rockets the M5 to 62 mph in 4.4 seconds and under 4 seconds using BMW’s new Launch Control.
