Heading to the track for the day is something most of us frequently look forward to, especially if your track toy is an early 70s Carrera RS. But when the tow vehicle for said Porsche is a V10 507HP E60 M5, it makes me pause for a second as to which one I’d have on track.
The M5’s S85 V10 with its 383 ft-lbs of torque is more than capable of towing the 1984 lbs Carrera RS, but why would anyone want to?
Maybe for the look of bewilderment on the faces of everyone at the track when you pull in with such a rig. Or maybe because you can! Either way, it’s the coolest track toy towing setup I’ve seen.
