Known in early 2000′s for its feature short films, BMW is back again with an exciting promo. The actors this time around are the new 2012 BMW M6 Convertible and the 2012 M6 Coupe. Shooting location: Sunny and beautiful Miami, Florida. Supporting actors: speed boats, Miami ocean front and good looking drivers and their companions.

Both M6 models make use of the S63Tu engine, a 4.4-liter unit with an output of 560 hp (412 kW) at 5,750 – 7,000 rpm, and maximum torque of 500 lb-ft (680 Nm) on tap between 1,500 and 5,750 rpm. The rev limiter intervenes at 7,200 rpm.

The engine is mated to a 7-Speed M-Double Clutch Transmission and an innovative Active M Differential.

Wow that had exactly NONE of the excitement and originality of the previous videos.

Agree. It doesn’t match the famous BMW films.

That is the worst promo film for a car that I’ve ever seen. It looks like they wrote the story after they did the filming.

BMW ///M films don’t do anything for me anymore. Also can’t stand the loud music, what about the engine and exhaust?
