Brand recondition and awareness are two of the most powerful attributes that identify a successful company, and in the past years, BMW has been rising at the top of every published study and market research. The latest survey comes from Reputation Institute who has just named BMW as the Most Reputable Company in the world.
Global RepTrack 2012 surveyed around 47,000 people from around the world and top 100 global companies were included in the annual ranking. After two fourth places in 2010 and 2011, BMW Group rose to the top spot.
With a total score of 80 percent, BMW was leading the pack followed closely by Sony and Walt Disney. Next automakers in the top are Daimler (4th place) and Volkswagen (8th).
The survey is conducted every year in 15 countries, including North America and Europe.
In 10 of the 15 regions surveyed BMW managed to be in top 10, only Sony achieved a better result within 13 regions. Of the seven core areas of study, BMW ranked the highest in the Products / Services.
