A team of BMW enthusiasts from Chicago created an independent and unique BMW commercial. The car featured in the ad? The E90 335xi. The one minute video ad was shot in Chicago and Wisconsin over the course of two weekends. A crew of four people, a car and $500 later have created a professional promo for the brand.

Christopher Amos, the editor of the video ad, says that the goal was to show how a BMW car fits all types of drivers.  “Our goal was to showcase the simple fact that BMW is a car for every lifestyle; something to be driven and enjoyed by all types of people. It’s the ultimate driving machine for everyone.”

Here is the full cast:

Didn’t think much of it tbh, looked more like $5 not $500

Dubbed engine sounds that really spoilt the whole thing, some ok editing but you can tell its done by armatures, good effort i suppose but I’m sure with some practice they could improve on that allot, next time include more shots of what the advert was about i.e THE CAR..!!! and if the content / theme is a car for anyone and go anywhere then show that, one shot in a city and one in the country doesn’t really portray the idea they were trying to get across?

All this is just my opinion of course and I’m no professional film maker, just a professional opinionated so and so :D

Looking for the old commercial, created over months, that showed a “mouse trap” effect rolling through an entire array of automobile parts. One part moved another part, including windshield wipers, tires, etc. It was several minutes and incredible. Does anyone know if it’s still online?
