In striking blue, BMW’s M6 Cabriolet has stolen the show floor at NYIAS 2012. Our camera loves shooting it, and the car seems to enjoy the attention.

Soon to be sold at a dealer near you, BMW’s new M6 Cabriolet combines the insane performance of the M5 and M6 sports cars with open air motoring. As if the sound and experience were not exciting enough, the wind in your hair and exhaust noise massaging your ears will take the intensity to the next level.

BMW’s M-DCT 7-speed dual clutch gearbox is connected to the M limited slip differential, transferring all 560 hp efficiently to the road surface.

Thankfully, BMW has also carried over the hydraulic power steering assist from the M5, so you can expect excellent tactile feel through the wheel.

An expected 0-60 time of 4.2 seconds is blistering quick for the large convertible, and as always, official factory numbers err on the conservative side, so we fully expect this open-air monster to nail 60 in 4.0 seconds flat.

Pricing has been announced earlier this morning at $106,995.
