Chris Harris drives the new Morgan Plus 8 from South Wales to Geneva.
At the Swiss auto show, Morgan unveiled the new Plus 8, a roadster powered by a 4.8-liter BMW V8 producing 370 horsepower. The classic roadster weighs just 2,420 pounds. Instead of loading the Plus 8 on a trailer, Morgan decided to let automotive journalist Chris Harris drive the car over 730 miles in a car that comfort is not one of its attributes.
The Morgan Plus 8 was never really designed to transport two passengers and tons of luggage, so the interior space is somewhat…limited.
