Chris Harris places the new BMW M5 against the Nissan GT-R

Yes, we know, pitting the BMW M5 against the Nissan GT-R is simply unconventional or some may say, even silly. The two vehicles have nothing in common and a recent showdown between the two put together by Autocar was received with high criticism.

But here comes Chris Harris, one of THE most respectable automotive journalists and a guy that gives it to you the way it is. Instead of pitting them head-to-head in a useless comparison, Harris takes the smart route and brings the two cars on a damp circuit where he demonstrates the technology of the two vehicles.

Conclusion? As expected: “Are they rivals, not really. Is the GT-R faster? Yes. Would you rather live with the M5 every day? Yes.”

thats more professional comparision; a deeper comparison….a consistent comparison….this is the way to make comparision cars…

That is why this Man is superior than that other Clown! who calls himself a car Journalist just trying to make a NAME !!!! he should go back to basics or be fired for such a bad commentary, yes you can compare but look at the difference in putting the words, if you want a Sports car get the Nissan if you want a fast 4 door sedan get the Beemer !! simple ……….

That’s the kind of comparision between these two that I see point of.

What Autocar did was just listing the well known facts about these cars and to make this very bad idea even worse they’ve presented in as stupid way as it can ever be.
