BMW takes us back into the history of the brand and showcases through a video the classic BMW 3.0 CSI. The BMW 3.0 CSI has been built between 1971 and 1975. The car uses a 3.0 liter engine offered with a 9.5:1 compression ratio, Bosch D-Jetronic fuel injection, and 200 horsepower at 5,500 rpms per minute in the 3.0CSi.

BMW 2000 CS coupe served as the starting point for the 3.0 CSI. The cars proved very successful in racing, especially in European Touring Car Championship and the Deutsche Rennsport Meisterschaft, and in 1972 a high-performance 3.0 CSL homologation special was launched.

The beautiful 3.0 CSI was considered by many the 70s flagship coupe with well proportioned, elegant and unique styling.
