Product Placement: BMW 5 Series GT in Jennifer Hudson’s video

In the past months, BMW has been increasing their marketing presence through product placement in various music videos and film productions.

From BMW Z4, to 7 Series, X6 Hybrid, X5 and S 1000 RR, and now the 5 Series GT, were featured along with renown artists like Black Eyed Peas, Jennifer Lopez, Kyle Minogue or Tayo Cruz.

The latest in-video advertising comes from Jennifer Hudson who showcases the BMW 5 Series GT in her “No One Gonna Love You” clip.

Talk about irony… The name of the song “no one gonna love you”, the model 5GT.. a bmw that nobody seems to love… I wonder if this is intentional or not, but IMO its kind of funny :)

I was in Los Angeles the other week and saw several GT’s being used as a personal shuttle service the way the car should be used – A reason why the GT was designed in reverse with The interior being thought out first .

The approval for the Jennifer Hudson video (I just love those video epilogues) :) Black-Eye Peas and forthcoming movie with somebody from “Twlight” saga “Abduction” were approved by BMW North America.

BMW AG is responsible for product placement in “Mission:Impossible:Ghost Protocol” and upcoming David Fincher film (based on the best selling novel) “The Girl With a Dragon Tattoo” BMW’s are also signed up for two other projects including a science-fiction action thriller in which the Connected Drive Concept takes centre stage.
