One of our readers spotted the new 2012 BMW M5 near the M facility in Munich. For the first time, the test mule wears no camouflage.

The F10 M5 will make its debut on Thursday at the M Festival where BMW will introduce two exciting M models, the aforementioned M5 and the M3 Sedan Lightweight.

The spy shots below give us a glance at the rear design, but unfortunately the front-end details are missing from these photos. The F10 BMW M5 builds atop the safer and more stylish design of the new 5 Series. The design language is easier on the eye than the previous E60 generation and the M5 enhances its aggressiveness to the M-specific levels.

BMW also offers a full LED treatment on the M5 which enhances the luxury angle of the super saloon.

The interior has been tweaked to provide the aggressive sportiness needed for an M car combined with the luxury buyers of the sedan will expect.
