Video of the week comes from BMW Canada who gives us an exciting, new look at the BMW 1M. The driver, the producer and director, deliver one of the coolest footage of the 1M seen so far.

And yes, some parts of the video are computer generated, but nonetheless, the idea deserves props. Instead of using a regular race track or slalom pylons, BMW decided to use concrete walls to showcase the drifting abilities and dynamics of the “baby-M”, of course, in the unique Valencia Orange paint.

    That is a brilliant video.   Not just because it’s cool and *really* shows off its character, but because how it makes words so unnecessary.   Nobody will care what the specs are after seeing that.

    Here’s the thing though.  How could they have done it perfectly each time — not just in the video, but during practice?  Surely they wouldn’t risk damaging a car to produce this this video.
