Sweden’s SVK Customs releases some details around an exciting project: a Ferrari 550 GTR with carbon-fiber body, BMW powerplant and drift-car steering angle.
According to Jalopnik, the Swedish shop built its own carbon-fiber body kit of the 550 GTR, 7.15 feet wide in the rear and 6.99 in the front. Using a 3D scanner and CAD drawings, the shot made sure both sides of the body kit were symmetrical.
The steering angle for the carbon-fiber Ferrari was set near 55 degrees.
SVK Customer decided to keep the Ferrari drivetrain, but a BMW V8 engine is being placed in.
