BMW releases new videos of the 2012 BMW 6 Series Convertible. We took the time to group the seventeen videos into three different sets showing the car in motion, its exterior design and the production process at Dingolfing plant.

Earlier this week, BMW launched online the new 6 Series Convertible. The world premiere will most likely take place at the Detroit Auto Show in January 2011.

In Europe, the new 6 Series Convertible will debut on March 26, 2011 with the 640i and 650i models. A few months later, the 640d will join the line-up, including the xDrive option.

Both the 640i and 650i will join the US line-up. The entry-level 6er Convertible is powered by the N55 TwinScroll turbocharged engine. The engine produces 320 horsepower at 5,800 rpm and 450Nm of torque between 1,300 and 4,500 rpm. The 640i Convertible weighs 1,840 kilograms, but still manages to run from 0 100 km/h in 5.7 seconds.

Like I said the design is too plain, especially when compared to Mercedes-Benz SL.

notice the VERY VERY POOR fit and finish , just browse the threads about new 6er , the picture taken from above on the left side involving doors and back shows exactly what I mean , very very poor , attention to detail FAILURE .

In the interior that black and white leather combination, oh my, insanely good. :D

Great looking follow up to the 6er… however… the interior is a bit gimicky… better then the last model for sure… but it’s really too busy… too many different surfaces… it will probably look better in person. NOW… bring on the M6… can’t wait!

the back lights´s upper line should be horizontal.bmws all has great seats, but they r difficult to get in and out to and it´ll lead to destruction of the door side of the seat.maybe becuz of place entery from the door compare to seat´s position.this one looks like it has the same position.other than that amazing…
