Back in May, BMWBLOG launched the latest addition to our network of our websites dedicated to the BMW community and its fans. BimmerList.com launched as an online classifieds website that offers BMW fans and businesses, an online medium to buy or sell cars, regular and performance parts, wheels, tires, suspensions, exhaust systems and much more.

Today, “The Ultimate Classifieds for BMW Fans” becomes integrated with BMWBLOG. On a weekly basis, our team will choose two popular listings from BimmerList and display them in a separate article. The listings will be featured every Sunday and Wednesday, and will give both the BMW fans and the sellers, an opportunity to connect.

First BMW listing ever featured on BMWBLOG is 2002 E36 325i, one of our favorite BMWs to date. The E46 sedan has 103,000 miles and sells for $10,000. The car features a Sport and Premium package, along leather interior.

The owner is an Illinois dealership, Admiral Motors. See the full listing on BimmerList.com

I had a 2002 325i sedan specced identical to this except mine had Orient Blue paint. Loved that car!

i still have my ’03 325xi, runs like a champ!!

I loved the e46 but the 2.5L I6 always seemed quite short on power for a sports sedan/coupe. Good engine, just not nearly enough of it.

    gorgeous car,very fine example

Wow, don’t see this color around much. Doug, as an owner of a ’02 325i it’s not too bad, even when I have just driven my mom’s ’01 330i convertible. I have to turn off DSC quite a bit so I won’t feel the lack of power. Strangely, the insurance premium skyrocketed for a 330i over a 325i when I was 24, and my previous car was going to die on me very quickly…so I made the choice and nearly four years later I am very happy. I do wish it were 330i though.

    • Doug

aaron- that’s interesting about the 330. Do you mean traction control? I don’t know why stability control would affect the power that much, unless you’re powering through hard corners.

  • Aaron

DSC cuts the power out from which ever tire is not getting optimum traction, correct? And to me, that effects throttle response and feels a touch slower than it should. I can’t turn “off” anything else so that must be it.

My girlfriend’s 2002 needed repairs at around 115K:  waterpump, thermostat, expansion tank,  all hoses,  all belts.  all pullys.  This cost around $2200.  I am told this is normal for that mileage.  I would recommend replacing anything that could cause the engine to overheat at around 100K or so.

On the other hand,  the car is pretty much good for another 100K and runs great.
