Mourad, one of our Facebook fans shared with us his 3D manipulation of the BMW Vision EfficientDynamics. The 3D image enhances some of the qualities of the Vision Concept, from the layering design, both inside and outside, to the aerodynamic lines and the air curtain.

The Vision Concept made its debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 2009 and it is scheduled to go in production in 2013. According to our sources, the car is currently being tested with fully operative drivetrain consisting of an three-cylinder diesel engine and two electric motors.

The car continues down the path of entering into production sometimes in the future and BMW sees the concept as the best example of how future sports car should look like: light, efficient, and more important, fast, despite the lower number of horsepower.
